The varistor is a voltage limiting type protection device. Using the nonlinear characteristics of the varistor, when an overvoltage occurs between the two poles of the varistor, the varistor can clamp the voltage to a relatively fixed voltage value, thereby realizing the protection of the varistor of the latter circuit. Parameters are: varistor voltage, current capacity, junction capacitance, response time, etc.

Use attention
1. When the surge pulse is applied to the varistor with a short intermittent repetition, the average power at this time should be lower than the maximum static power.
